Ian King (1971) - 14/11/2007I attended the school during its years as Moreton End Preparatory School and went on to St. Albans' school.
I remember English with the headmaster Mr. Billinghurst, French with Mr. Curzon, Maths with "Tombo" Thompson and other stuff that seems Sooooo long ago now!

Alumnus and alumna both come from Latin and preserve Latin plurals. Alumnus is a masculine noun whose plural is alumni, and alumna is a feminine noun whose plural is alumnae. Coeducational institutions usually use alumni for graduates of both sexes. Definitions: Alumni Association, Old Boy Network, Alumnus, School Tie.
