I was in House 4 until we moved to the then new Keswick House for 6 1. I did an undergraduate degree in Physics at Imperial College and then went to Brussels to become an international school teacher. I have now returned to London to pursue a MA in education.
Alumnus and alumna both come from Latin and preserve Latin plurals. Alumnus is a masculine noun whose plural is alumni, and alumna is a feminine noun whose plural is alumnae. Coeducational institutions usually use alumni for graduates of both sexes. Definitions: Alumni Association, Old Boy Network, Alumnus, School Tie.
