James Edward Arthur Knowles (1949) - 6/12/2006I was at the school from 1942 to 1949. I was at Barbon until 1945, and have all my letters, which my mother saved. Next year I will try to look through them and prepare something. I now live In Bury St. Edmunds. I ma married and have two grown up sons and two granchildren. I am a retired ENT surgeon.
Alumnus and alumna both come from Latin and preserve Latin plurals. Alumnus is a masculine noun whose plural is alumni, and alumna is a feminine noun whose plural is alumnae.
